Sarah's LASIK Journey

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I'm here to share my LASIK experience with New York Ophthalmology. I've been wearing glasses for about 15 years, and I was just tired of it. I was tired of waking up and not being able to see, having to fumble around for my glasses. I was tired of contacts drying out my eyes. So I decided to look into LASIK. I did a lot of research, and I found New York Ophthalmology and Dr. Moadel. The consultation was really thorough. They explained everything to me, answered all my questions, and I felt really comfortable with the decision. The day of the surgery, I was nervous, but the staff was amazing. They made me feel so comfortable. The procedure itself was really quick - maybe 10 or 15 minutes total. There was a little bit of pressure, but no pain at all. The next day, I woke up and I could see. I mean, I could actually see without glasses. It was incredible. I couldn't believe it. I went in for my follow-up appointment, and they said everything looked perfect. It's been about three months now, and my vision is 20/20. I can see everything clearly. I can wake up in the morning and just see. I don't have to worry about glasses or contacts anymore. It's changed my life completely. If you're thinking about LASIK, I would definitely recommend New York Ophthalmology. Dr. Moadel and his team are amazing, and the whole experience was just wonderful. I'm so happy I did it.
